Amazon for Mom

I have to admit that I'm a super fan of Amazon.com. I use an Amazon credit card, get many of our groceries via Amazon subscribe and save and have a running wish list and shopping list that I update frequently. I also love getting gifts from there and find it to be a super easy way to shop for others (especially when they have their own frequently updated wishlist.)

Anyway, it's almost Mother's Day and although I can think of about a million things that I'd love to receive for Mother's Day, my own Mother and Mother-in-Law are not so easy to shop for. If you absolutely have no clue, get her an Amazon gift card. If she is web savvy, she will surely love choosing her own favorite goodies on your dime and you saved yourself hours of trying to come up with the perfect gift.

There are so many cool gift ideas to choose from:

Does she love books? I think a Kindle is a fantastic gift for Mom (especially a Mom that's not online) because she can adjust the text size (for easier reading) and she can buy new books on the spot without having to drive to a book store.

If she has wireless Internet access where she lives (or you are willing to set her up with it), there is nothing more fun than an Apple iPod touch. I received one for Sweetest Day a few years ago and have gotten more use out of it than any other gift I've ever received. It's great for reading emails, light web browsing, playing games, keeping up with Facebook, etc. Any Mom would love having one and of course, it can also be used to listen to music or watch videos, too.

Does Mom have a cell phone yet? My Mom asked me to help her get a cell phone not too long ago, when she had a flat tire and needed to make a call. She never wanted one before that, but the emergency made her realize the need for it. Amazon has great prices on Cell Phones and service, too!

You can't really go wrong with Jewelry and Amazon has a huge selection. They have all kinds of great jewelry gift ideas in a wide variety of budgets.
